HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR SWIMSUIT ?

Kcankouran swimsuits are crafted from exquisitely delicate fabrics. To preserve their brilliance and
exceptional quality, and to extend their longevity, we strongly recommend that you:

Avoid machine washing

Water temperature and detergents can be very aggressive for the fabrics. Even with a mesh bag, friction can still damage your swimsuit.

Hand wash only

Hand-wash your swimsuit in cold water with a mild detergent right after wearing it. Be sure to rinse off all soap under cold water.

Wash separately

Dark or highly pigmented fabrics may bleed. Washing separately prevents color transfer to other lighter-colored garments.

Do not bleach

Bleach, other whitening agents, stain removers, fabric softener, or harsh detergents, can weaken the fabric and cause fading

Do not wring

To avoid distortion, do not wring out your swimsuit. Instead, gently squeeze it between two towels to remove excess water.

Do not dry clean

Dry cleaning solvents can degrade synthetic fibers like elastane, causing them to lose elasticity, weaken and fade.

Do not tumble dry

Excessive heat damages the elastic fibers. You also risk damaging your swimsuit due to friction in the drum.

Flat dry in shade

The best option is to dry your swimsuit flat, in the shade, in the open air. Avoid hangers (risk of deformation) and direct sunlight.

Do not iron

Fabrics like elastane are heat-sensitive; ironing can melt fibers, reduce elasticity, and cause shiny spots, discoloration, or holes.

Avoid prolonged contact with rough surfaces: this may damage the fabric (abrasion, pilling).
Be careful with sunscreens or bronzing oils: they can stain or damage certain fabrics. Apply products before putting on your swimsuit.
